Terms of Service
Last updated: May 2026
1. Who you are contracting with
The LockIn service ("LockIn", the "Service") is provided by Zigmas Reisas(the "Seller", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using LockIn on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation. If you are an individual, you confirm you are of legal age in your jurisdiction.
2. The Service
LockIn is a guided accountability tool that helps you configure device settings (such as Apple Screen Time) and create commitment periods for digital habits. LockIn does not directly control your device and does not guarantee impossible-to-bypass protection. You are responsible for entering, storing, or intentionally not remembering your own Screen Time passcode.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these Terms;
- Engage in fraud, spam, or abuse of other users;
- Infringe intellectual property or other rights;
- Interfere with the security or integrity of the Service (malware, probing, scraping, reverse engineering, or circumventing technical limits);
- Resell or redistribute the Service without our written consent.
4. Account
You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.
5. Payments — Merchant of Record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payments, billing, applicable taxes, currency conversion, invoicing, subscription renewals, cancellations, and refunds are governed by Paddle's Checkout / Buyer Terms.
6. Subscriptions
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly, quarterly, or annually depending on the plan you choose) and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time through your billing portal at paddle.net or by contacting support. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the paid period.
7. Refunds
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy and are processed by Paddle.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, branding, and documentation, is owned by Zigmas Reisas and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with your plan. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
9. Service availability
We work hard to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, updates, or third-party outages may cause downtime. The Service is provided "as is" and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated/serious policy violations. You may stop using the Service at any time by cancelling your subscription and deleting your account.
11. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the fees you paid to us (via Paddle) in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by applicable law.
12. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the seller's jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
